I am a TCM trained acupuncturist which not only includes acupuncture needles, but also supportive modalities including fire cupping, silicon cupping, Moxa (smokeless, raw herbs in heat packs, topical liniments), estim (electro-stimulated needles), Gua Sha (jade tools for scraping and blood flow), Tui Na (chinese massage of merdians, surface warming, deep tissue).
I have also continued my education with Shonishin (for children), Dr. Tan and Master Tung distal treatments used alot in community acupuncture, scalp acupuncture and Auricular (ear seeds), and more.
Acupuncture can treat internal imbalance, organs, memory, heart, lungs, spleen, liver, as well as skeletal and soft tissue issues such as injury and trauma. Menses and fertility, prostate and gout are common treatments in acupuncture sessions.
